“Greens is not as old as it feels but it fits neatly onto the Mayfair map alongside Fortnums, Paxtons, Christies, etc... Behind the smoked glass windows are clubby varnished dark wood panels and Spy-style prints. The champagne and oyster bar dispenses the highest caliber of both. To the other side, the dining room specializes in the simple smoked meats and fish, plain crustaceans – and the traditional – kedgeree, bangers and mash and puddings.”
