A feasibility study for a combined site behind Lewes House which accompanied a competitive bid from Ashmill Developments Ltd who won a competition. It was for a mix of private houses, flats and “affordable” housing between two “twittens” medieval lanes. Because of the site's slope dwellings on the larger site would have views to the Downs and the river valley. The buildings were to be modern with local vernacular materials and references.
